 Step 1: Request a Recycling Quote

• Contact NFR with basic information about your upcoming commercial roofing project, including the jobsite location, roofing materials, estimated quantities, and project timeline.
• Our team will review your project and provide a recycling quote that includes equipment, logistics, transportation, and recycling.
• We typically provide quotes within four business hours.

Step 2: Prepare Your Insulation and Membrane

• As roofing materials are removed, prepare them for recycling using our straightforward guidelines.

Rigid Foam Insulation:

• Stack full sheets of insulation in bundles approximately 4 feet high.
• Keep insulation dry and free of mold.
• Separate insulation from roofing membrane and other debris.

Roofing Membrane:

• Roll or neatly fold membrane materials.
• Stack and secure membrane on standard wooden pallets.
• Keep materials organized and free of unnecessary contamination.

Step 3: Schedule Transportation and Pickup

Once your material is ready for removal, contact NFR to schedule a pickup.

We coordinate transportation directly from your commercial roofing jobsite using flatbed trailers.

• Foam insulation and roofing membrane are transported separately.
• A forklift or lull is required onsite to load the trailers.
• We generally request 24–48 hours' notice when scheduling pickups.
• Our team coordinates logistics to minimize disruption to your project.

Step 4: Recycling and Landfill Diversion Documentation

• After collection, materials are transported for recycling or reuse through NFR's network.
• We track recovered roofing materials and provide documentation outlining the pounds and square footage diverted from landfills.
• This information can help contractors, building owners, and project teams document their recycling efforts.
